"Assassin's Creed is mostly an annual affair now. Except for Assassin's Creed II, every game in the series has released the next year. Last year's Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag took a different approach compared to the rest of the games in the series. Black Flag could be easily termed as more of a pirates games rather an actual Assassin's Creed title but this change in direction was a welcome change. Unity goes back to the series' root once again but that does not mean the franchise won't rework on some of its crucial gameplay mechanics like stealth and assassination."

In addition to more of the fantastic new indie game, Entwined, I'd like to finally finish up Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag in order to get the most out of this year's Assassin's Creed Unity. While I understand the Abstergo/modern-day element has a lot less going on in Black Flag, it's still probably in my best interest to catch up with Edward Kenway and the crew of the Jackdaw.

Microsoft will bring Xbox One to Japan on September 4. The console will be accompanied by 29 games, most of which were launch titles in North America. Its interesting to see last years series titles like Call of Duty: Ghosts on the list instead of the upcoming Call of Duty game and Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag from Ubisoft.
